Our Mission
Green Hotels and Resorts has launched and created a new way to reconstruct existing hotels and design enriched new hotels so that our guests experience them through the lens of environmental responsibility. These existing historic, center city buildings are redefined on a seven to ten years basis which will allow the design team to bring them up to national benchmarks for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
Our green team will provide owners and operators with the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings performance while providing a whole building approach to sustainability by recognizing a whole-building approach to the design to include six key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, indoor environmental quality and innovation in design.
This design approach coupled with energy savings will provide these hotels with a healthier place to stay by advocating natural daylight harvesting, providing better indoor air quality and enriching space with materials which better our environment by using recycled and low VOC products.
